This is what Sinar Mas is committed to do through Eka Tjipta Foundation (ETF) in its humanitary action for the victims of the natural disaster in Central Sulawesi and West Nusa Tenggara. ETF Care not only engage Sinar Mas family but also the general public to donate for the people in Central Sulawesi and West Nusa Tenggara.
Sinar Mas together with The Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation and other big companies with similar concerns has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indonesian Army on Monday the 15th of October 2018 to support the restoration of living quarters and public infrastructures such as clinics, houses of worship and schools. The partnership will consist of supplying and distributing logistics to the restoration locations where Army personnel will provide security support and infrastructure construction spearheaded by the Zeni Unit of the Army.
Previously, ETF and The Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation did similar action during the responsive emergency phase and post earthquake restoration in West Sumatra and Jambi in 2010, Tasikmalaya – West Java in 2009, Jogjakarta – Magelang in 2006 and Aceh – Nias after the 2004 tsunami.
