The program aims to support the advancement of vocational high schools by modernizing and digitizing their curriculum, equipping graduates with competencies aligned with industry demands.
To address the gap between graduates’ competencies and industry needs, the Eka Tjipta Foundation has adopted the 8+i link and match model, endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This includes curriculum alignment, soft skills development through project-based learning, industry-experienced teachers, internships, competency certification, teacher-industry collaboration, and applied research supporting teaching factories for job placement commitments.
Since 2020, the Eka Tjipta Foundation has implemented vocational revitalization programs in various vocational schools across Jakarta, West Java, and Central Java. To amplify its impact, the foundation has spearheaded the formation of a consortium comprising business entities with a shared commitment to advancing vocational education in Indonesia.
