Sinar Mas’ concern regarding the victimes hit by natural disasters in Central Sulawesi and West Nusa Tenggara, is being reflected through ETF Care’s fundraising activities in several malls around Jakarta. Sinar Mas’ employees who served as volunteers of ETF Care went around the malls circulating fund collections boxes inviting shoppers and shop owners to donate. The fundraising activity that started at the Ambassador Mall on December 17, 2018 continued to ITC Roxy Mas, ITC Kuningan, ITC Depok, ITC Fatmawati and Mangga Dua Mall.

Both shoppers and shop owners were positive about the activity. One of the shoppers at Mal Mangga Dua, Bapak Andy, said: “This activity reminds us about caring, especially to those who are in need of our help and even more during this season when we all are busy with all kind of end of the year events.” Shop owners also responded positively to the activity : “We are sharing our good fortune with our brothers and sisters who are in need,” said Ibu Mimi a shop owner at ITC Fatmawati.

ETF Care’s fund raising activity from December 17 up to December 27, 2018 succeeded in collecting Rp. 40.129.500,- which will be donated through ETF to help restoring the areas of Sulteng and NTB hit by natural disasters.
